An important message sent to all NWC staff today:
We wanted to take an opportunity to reach out to all NWC employees and reiterate our organization-wide commitment to diversity and inclusion. Following the recent news and information surrounding the Executive Order on Immigrations, we wanted to take a moment to reinforce Northwest Center’s commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion, not only regarding abilities but also the many backgrounds and experiences that represent our 814 employees.
We work hard to ensure that the services we provide to children, adults, families, and the community is of the highest quality and are available to the entire community no matter their race, religion or place of birth.
Northwest Center is composed of many diverse elements that when combined, join to form a greater whole. This is especially true of our staff and the nearly 100 employees that have either newly immigrated to the US, are permanent residents, or are working on a US Visa. We share a deep concern about how any immigration orders impact our employees and want you to know that we extend our support during this time.
