Sigma Chi is pleased to welcome you to the University of Washington. Here we strive to better ourselves and the community by living by the values that our founders built the fraternity on. Our Chapter has had a rich tradition at the University for over 100 years and continues to cultivate and maintain the high ideals of friendship, justice, and learning. We pride ourselves in our life-long friendships, academic excellence, social prominence, and athletic dominance. At Sigma Chi, we strive to strengthen both the Greek and UW communities through member involvement in leadership, athletics, social activities, no-hazing policy, and ongoing philanthropy. Our accomplishments have earned us recognition by the IFC for Excellence in Risk Management, Alumni Relations, New Member Programming, and Chapter Management. We have also received seven consecutive Peterson Awards; the highest award possible for an undergraduate Sigma Chi Chapter. From our philanthropy Derby Days, benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation, to Husky Football and Basketball Games, and our Annual Sweetheart Weekend in Whistler, BC, we kept a very busy social schedule while still excelling in the classroom. In recent years, we have been maintaining a 3.31 house cumulative GPA.We also boast one of the largest local scholarships at UW, which provides $16,000 a year in scholarships for our members. With strong Alumni Relations, a freshly renovated Chapter House, and exceptional tradition, we couldn't be more proud to be Huskies and look forward to the upcoming year.

This last week, Sigma Chi helped fundraise and run the Youth Movement Field Day in collaboration with ASUW. This event brought Native American kids from Reservations all over Washington to our campus. The goal of this event was to inspire American Indian / Alaskan Native youth to pursue post-secondary education through an interpersonal experience of fun-filled sport and educational activities. We had a lot of fun working with these kids and want to thank everyone who came out to make this day a special one! #SigsDoGoodThings
