We hope everyone is enjoying summer break. We miss fun times of community building with our SUA family -- times like this one -- but we can't wait to create even more memories next year!

What an incredible graduation ceremony. We're so proud of our 2015 and all they have accomplished. It wasn't easy, but they are each so passionate, strong, and full of purpose. We can't wait to see what the future holds for each of them!

Learning about robotics from a special guest! Visits like these are such a fun way for our students to explore areas of career interest. Also ... this little robot is pretty neat.

Yesterday, #AmericanIdol vet Jeremy Rosado gave a special performance at SUA. He even invited a couple students onstage to sing with him. Such a blast! On Saturday, Jeremy sang at World Concern's #FreeThem5k to fight human trafficking. Thank you, Jeremy!

Earlier today, Mr. McIntosh led our students in singing "Happy Birthday" to Ms. Sharon. We have such an incredible principal. Please join us in celebrating her today!

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! We are blessed to have INCREDIBLE teachers here at SUA. They are wise, caring, passionate, intelligent and friendly men and women who love the Lord and dedicate countless hours to helping our students grow into the amazing and talented young people we know they are. When the music stopped, our awesome tutor Ms. Tami had the spoon--and as her "trick," she had to eat baby food. Other "trick" foods were chocolate soy milk, garlic cloves and hot Cheetos!
